How to Smooth Skin using Quick Mask, Gaussian Blur and Noise

Open the image you want to smoothen the skin


Duplicate the image
Reset your pallete
Enter quick mask mode
paint the area of the face leaving the eyes, eyebrows, nose and lips


after you painted the area, exit the quick mask mode
you should have a selection around the face


inverse the selection then feather of 10px
apply a gaussian blur of around 3px


add a little bit of noise around 2.5%, uniformed, monochromatic, to make the smoothing more natural
