Skin Smoothing Using Channels

open your image
duplicate the background and hide the duplicated layer
select the background
click on the channels
select the green channel
apply a surface blur of 2-4 pixels, 20-30 threshold
select the blue channel
apply a surface blur of 4-6 pixels, 30-40 threshold
select the RGB channel
click on the layers
unhide and select the duplicated background
enter quick mask mode
paint the face leaving the eyes, eyebrows, nose and lips
exit the quick mask mode
add a layer mask
save your image
